You are creating a magazine cover in Microsoft Publisher. This should be a fake travel magazine cover about your culture. Remember that culture is traditions, religions/beliefs, rituals, food etc. You will need to use the internet to research your culture.

Your magazine cover must have:

1. Title/Logo
2. At least 2 pictures (one must be a flag)
3. 2 Resources (ie: coal, horses, cotton)
4. Government Type
5. Music (ie: folk music)
6. Good design (ie: follow the design principals we talked about in class)

For #’s 3-5 you should at least have one written sentence identifying the resource, government or type of music. You can have pictures that accompany the text; however, a picture is not enough.

MS TECH: Paint - House Design

You are going to draw a house using Paint.

1)The drawing is to be done in a landscape layout.
2) It must contain a house with a roof, chimney, door (with knob and window), and two windows with split panes. The picture must also have a tree, cloud, bush, and sun. You may add any other features if you choose.
3) The drawing is to be in black and white only (a coloring sheet).
